Running Rivers Therapy

In our natural world, running rivers offer abundance, flow, opportunity, exploration, discovery, and enjoyment. Qualities that are synonymous with dance/movement therapy practices. At Running Rivers Therapy LLC, we will welcome these qualities and harness them throughout the twists, turns, and horseshoe bends of the therapeutic journey. Throughout the process, we’ll connect to the qualities of running rivers as we embrace the innate wisdom that our own bodies and natural world offer us.

Running Rivers Therapy LLC is a private practice offering individual, in-person and online, dance/movement therapy and psychotherapy sessions for adults hoping to work through anxiety, depression, or difficult transitions.

Dance/movement Therapist & Counselor

Dance/movement Therapy & Counseling

As a dance/movement therapist and counselor, I offer a compassionate approach to individual psychotherapy sessions that involve one's whole self, the mind, body, and spirit. I offer individual sessions online and in-person sessions for those who are in Montana and online only in Oregon.

I pull from my knowledge of dance/movement therapy, psychotherapy, mindfulness-based, person-centered, multicultural competencies, cognitive behavioral, and many other approaches to provide creative perspectives, skills, and techniques to promote healing. I value this process as a collaborative one. I will work with you to understand what you are looking for and what approaches will serve you best.

My dance/movement therapy setting is intended as a socially and culturally inclusive, collaborative, non-judgmental, strengths-focused environment to support physical, emotional, and psychological healing and well-being.

"Movement has the capacity to take us to the home of the soul,
the world within for which we have no name.
Movement reaches our deepest nature, and dance creatively expresses it. Through dance, we gain new insights into the mystery of our lives. When brought forth from the inside and forged by
the desire to create personal change,
dance has the profound power to heal the body, psyche and soul."
